Movement is medicine.

Restore is a trauma-informed, inclusive, and conscious, wellness studio. Here, we holistically redefine our relationship with movement—bridging the gap between physical and mental health. Our mission is to restore your highest potential through movement, mindfulness, breathwork, and community.

Our Philosophy

A blank white background.

The spiral is more than a symbol. It is an ancient representation of the inward journey toward healing and self-awareness. Found throughout nature, it reflects the organic patterns of growth, evolution, and return. In both biology and the human experience, the spiral speaks to the non-linear nature of transformation.

For our holistic fitness and wellness platform, the spiral captures our philosophy: that healing requires integration, and progress arises through connection—between mind and body, science and spirit, movement and stillness. It reminds us that true wellness is not a destination, but a continuous unfolding inward and outward, rooted in wholeness.

Trauma-Informed Trainers

Restore is guided by educated, trauma-informed trainers who believe caring for the mind is essential to caring for the body. Movement here is a pathway to both physical strength and mental resilience.

Integrating evidence-based training with mindfulness-based movement practices, including strength training, yoga, breathwork, and martial arts. Our trainers offer a holistic, intentional approach to movement. Every session is thoughtfully designed to honour where you are, supporting progress that feels safe, grounded, and sustainable.

At Restore, movement becomes a practice of rebuilding trust, cultivating strength, and reconnecting with your body, at your own pace.

Core Values

  • At the heart of our platfom lies balance.

Yin represents stillness, softness, and introspection. Yang invites movement, strength, and play. When we learn to work with both, we begin to build a relationship with our full selves—body, mind, and nervous system.

This practice teaches us when to slow down and listen, and when to rise up and move forward. For those healing from trauma, understanding yin and yang is key to feeling safe in both rest and action.

Here, we don’t just train the body—we learn how to regulate, restore, and respond with intention.

This is where grounded strength and deep healing come together.

  • We prioritize creating emotionally and physically safe spaces where nervous systems can settle, through trauma-informed education and delivery.

Our team is professionally trained and trauma-informed, committed to ongoing education so we can continue to show up as safe, supportive, and well-equipped guides on your healing journey.

Only in safety can true transformation happen.

  • We approach discipline as an act of intentional self-devotion — a consistent practice rooted in self-respect, not punishment or shame.

From a trauma-informed perspective, discipline is reframed as a supportive structure that fosters regulation, resilience, and long-term well-being.

We recognize it as a powerful form of self-care that reinforces safety, stability, and trust within the nervous system.

  • We believe healing is inherently relational — it happens in connection, not isolation. Our community is built on mutual respect, safety, and shared growth, recognizing that we each play a role in one another’s healing. Through authentic presence, compassionate witnessing, and collective care, we create the conditions where transformation becomes possible.

Yoga योग, the Sanskrit word for ‘union,’ reminds us that we are not separate — from each other, from the Earth, or from ourselves. It is through this lens of unity that we approach healing. We heal together — not because we are the same, but because we are deeply interconnected. At our core, we are all one.

  • Every decision — from materials used to programming — reflects our commitment to the environment, sustainability, ahimsa (non-violence) and interconnectedness.

We respectfully acknowledge that Restore is based on the unceded, ancestral, and occupied lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

We honor the enduring connection between Indigenous Peoples and these lands, and we recognize our responsibility to learn from and with them. As a wellness platform, we commit to fostering practices rooted in respect, reciprocity, and ongoing relationship — with our bodies, communities, and the land we move on.

This acknowledgment is one small step toward truth and reconciliation, and we continue to educate ourselves and take actions that reflect this responsibility.
