The Restore Practice: Private Online Yoga

The Restore Practice is a personalized and trauma-informed approach to yoga that integrates movement, breathwork, nervous system awareness, mindfulness, and functional mobility. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all sequence, each session is thoughtfully designed around your body, your goals, and your capacity in the moment. It is created for people who want to move beyond simply practicing poses and begin building a more connected, sustainable, and intuitive relationship with themselves.

The Restore Practice is guided by Tyrsa Gregory, a trauma-informed yoga instructor, wellness professional, and endurance athlete with over five years of experience helping people reconnect with their bodies through intentional movement. Her teaching is shaped by a background in yoga, strength training, and holistic wellness, alongside her own journey of healing, resilience, and high-performance athletics. Each session blends evidence-informed movement with compassionate guidance, creating a space where strength, regulation, and self-trust can grow together.

The Restore Practice is about more than improving flexibility or learning yoga. It is about returning to your body with curiosity, building confidence through mindful movement, and creating a practice that supports you not only on the mat, but in everyday life.

Meet Tyrsa

Tyrsa Gregory is a trauma-informed yoga instructor, personal trainer, and wellness professional with over six years of experience helping people build strength, confidence, and a deeper connection with themselves through movement. With more than a decade of personal yoga practice, she integrates mindful movement, breathwork, functional strength, nervous system awareness, and traditional yogic philosophy to support holistic wellbeing.

Tyrsa's relationship with yoga began over ten years ago during one of the most difficult seasons of her life. Through experiences of trauma, grief, healing, and personal growth, yoga became a lifelong practice that helped her regulate her nervous system, reconnect with herself, and rediscover a sense of strength, stability, and trust within her own body. Those lived experiences inspired her passion for trauma-informed teaching and continue to shape the way she guides every class and private session.

Drawing from both Eastern philosophy and modern movement science, Tyrsa's teaching blends physical practice with mindful awareness. Her approach emphasizes strength, mobility, balance, breath, and sustainable movement while honouring the unique experiences, goals, and capacity of every individual. She believes yoga is just as much about caring for the body as it is cultivating presence, resilience, and self-awareness.

Through The Restore Practice, Tyrsa supports clients who are looking to move with greater confidence, improve their physical wellbeing, regulate their nervous system, and build a more intentional relationship with themselves. Her teaching is rooted in the belief that yoga is a lifelong practice of returning home to yourself, creating a foundation of strength, balance, and wellbeing that extends far beyond the mat.
